Eggless Chocolate Cupcakes: The Perfect Dessert for Every Occasion!!

Whether it is a last minute birthday celebration or midnight cravings, cupcakes are the perfect dessert for every occasion. There are so many reasons I love cupcakes. The fact that cupcakes are beautifully decorated is one of the reasons I love them. I mean just how pretty the frosting is and who doesn’t love decorating them? Yet another reason I love cupcakes is that anyone can make them. Baking cupcakes might seem like a difficult process, but let me tell you its the easiest dessert you can bake.


These Eggless Chocolate Cupcakes are moist, chocolatey, rich, and delicious. It's hard to be unhappy with them! Also, it is so much fun decorating them with an endless array of decorations available like sprinkles, chocolate chips and candy. All you need is 15 minutes of your time to put together the smooth batter together and then let it bake. They are so easy to make that a total beginner can bake them. There isn’t a single reason to not try baking these cupcakes.














Instructions for Cupcakes:

  1. First add all the dry ingredients in a large bowl: Flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda and salt. Make sure you sift all the ingredients and then whisk them properly

  2. In a separate bowl, add 1 cup milk and white vinegar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Then add oil and vanilla extract to the milk-vinegar liquid and give it a proper stir.

  3. Then, pour this liquid mixture to the dry ingredient bowl. Mix them together until the batter is lump free and smooth. Do not over mix the batter so that the cupcakes are fluffy and soft. If the batter is too thick then add some water to it.

  4. Once the batter is ready, put the batter in cupcake liners. Make sure that quantity of batter is same in every liner. If possible, use an ice-cream scoop for proper measurement and even sized cupcakes. Also, do not fill the entire liner. Fill it up to 3/4th of each cupcake liner so that the batter has enough space to rise.

  5. Bake the cupcakes at 180 degree Celsius for about 20-25 minutes. Once this is done, take the cupcakes out of the oven and let it cool completely before you frost them. The slightest heat can melt your frosting, resulting in a sloppy cupcake. Once cupcakes are cooled completely, frost them using the frosting recipe below. You can decorate your cupcakes however you like.

Instructions for Frosting:

  • Take some some softened butter and add powdered sugar. Beat them together till it gets creamy and smooth. Now add some vanilla extract and melted chocolate and again beat it together. Continue beating the mixture till the frosting is smooth, fluffy and shiny. Ensure that the melted chocolate is properly cooled before adding it to the mixture. The frosting is will be extremely creamy and full of chocolate.
